Filament Spectrum GreenyHT
High resistance in manufacturing applications
PLA is always the most popular among FDM technology users due to its extremely easy printing. A painful property of common PLA-based filaments is their relatively low heat resistance, which often reaches 50-60 °C in non-crystallized prints, significantly limiting their functional use.
Based on several months of testing, we have developed a new filament Spectrum GreenyHT based on a high-performance biopolymer with a softening point (VICAT) of up to 100 °C and heat resistance (HDT B) of up to 90 °C. In addition to improving thermal properties, we also tried not to deviate from the original mechanical properties of the plastic, and therefore Spectrum GreenyHT does not contain plasticizers. Moreover, it significantly surpasses other available types of PLA in terms of stiffness and hardness.
Despite the modifications used, Spectrum GreenyHT remains fully biodegradable and compostable under industrial conditions according to the EN 13432 standard. The bio-base comes from genetically non-modified sources (GMO-free). The material also meets the conditions for food contact (for more information, see the section of the material's technical data sheet dedicated to food contact).
In addition, the Spectrum GreenyHT filament distinguishes itself in the visual sphere by the roughness of the printed surface. The irregularity and matte finish of the surface effectively mask the layers, significantly increasing the aesthetic value of printed models.
Spectrum GreenyHT is a filament for users who want easy printing in an edition with increased heat resistance, high stiffness, and a matte, rough surface.
